Andrew and Vicky Hamilton welcome you to the website of their home, Chez Passet Bed and Breakfast, situated in the foothills of the French Hautes Pyrenees. Chez Passet can be found in the small village of Lézignan (population 402), three miles to the East of Lourdes. Our Activities We decided to move to the Hautes Pyrenees from Scotland towards the end of Summer 2004, with a view to creating a luxury bed and breakfast. Chez Passet was found after intense research in October 2004 and we took ownership at the beginning of January 2005. Our brief was to breathe new, and thoroughly deserved, life back into our 18th Century Maison de Maître. We have accommodation in both our Maison de Maître as well as our adjacent Grange. The three bedrooms in the Maision de Maître have been finished to the highest order, each room bringing its own unique view of the Hautes Pyrenees and affording any guest a warm stay both in climate (whatever the season!), as well as from its two passionate owners. All bedrooms will have en-suite Villeroy & Boch bathrooms, all in keeping with the style of the house. On the ground floor there is a spacious dining area where sumptuous breakfasts and evening meals, when requested will be served. There is also a reading room where our guests will be able to relax and browse the assorted reading materials provided, highlighting the delights of the Hautes Pyrenees as well as plan their following days activities. This room also contains Sky TV. In addition to the Maison de Maitre there is our Grange, which contains four bedrooms. Three of these are large twin/double bedrooms all en-suite, two of which also have baths. We also have a suite with an en-suite shower room but with the luxury of a free standing bath within the bedroom and a seating area. All of these bedrooms are decorated and furnished to the highest standards. In the summer months our guests will be able to eat al fresco on our terrace shaded by the magnificent kiwi fruit tree flourishing so splendidly above. There will also be a further garden terrace where one can again experience the wonderful views of the village, surrounding countryside and the glorious peaks of the Haute Pyrenees. There is a secure store room for bicycles in the Summer and skis in the Winter. We also have been an outdoor pool complete with its own sun terrace.
