Gourette

Gourette is a small purpose built resort situated half way up another famous Cycling route, the Col d’Aubisque and is another resort great for a days skiing or boarding. The slopes are reached direct from the car park in the village. For beginners there is a great tree lined run, away from the main hustle and bustle of the other pistes. For Intermediates there are plenty of runs to fill day.

The details of the skiing are as follows:

Altitude: 1350 – 2450 metres

Total ski area 30.5 kms comprising;

• Green Runs 4
• Blue Runs 8
• Red Runs 12
• Black Runs 1

Daily Ski pass (2006/7) 25.00 Euros

New for 2007 is a Snowpark as well as a Boardcross track of almost 1000m with a vertical of 400m.

There is a Ski School as well as plenty of shops for ski/board equipment purchase or rental.
