St Lary Soulan

The town of St Lary Soulan is the furthest resort which we visit, but it is certainly worth the trip! It takes an hour and fifteen minutes to the skiing, a bit less to the town itself. The ski areas can be reached by cable car from the village or by car to the slopes at Saint Lary 1900 "Espiaube". From there the other two main parts of the resort Saint Lary 1700 Pla da D’Adet and Saint lary 2400 can be reached by chair lifts.

The resort of St Lary offers a wealth of skiing for all standards, with the bulk of the beginner slopes being situated at Saint Lary 1700. Saint Lary 1700 is the home of the “Kids park” which is an area designed for children between the ages of 6 and 12. Saint Lary 1900 and 2400 with some great Red and Black runs. Saint Lary 1900 is also the home of one of the longest runs in the French Pyrenees, which at 3.6km offers a vertical drop of 700 meters. It is a red run.

The details of the skiing are as follows:

Total ski area 100 kms comprising;

  • Green Runs 6

  • Red Runs 14
  • Black Runs 9
