Andrew and Vicky Hamilton welcome you to the Winter Home Page of our Bed and Breakfast accommodation situated in the French Hautes Pyrenees.
We are about to embark on our fourth ski season living in the Pyrenees, and we offer a Ski Package to cater for skiers and snowboarders alike, and give them the chance to experience the delights of the French Hautes Pyrenees in the Winter.
We offer skiing in five local ski resorts...For more information on each of the resorts, please click on the links above where you will be able to read more about the resort as well as view Piste Maps.
We are offering an airport pick up and drop off service included in the price from our local airport Pau Pyrenees which is served by Ryan Air. For flight booking please refer to www.ryanair.com.
Pick up and drop off can be arranged from Toulouse and Biarritz if requested
We have acquired this season a New Renault Trafic 8 seater minibus which allows the transport of large groups to and from the slopes/airport in comfort. This vehicle is equipped with a DVD player
We also have a Land Rover Freelander to take smaller groups to the slopes.
Our Winter packages for 2007/8
We are offering a three or five night package which includes
-3 or 5 nights accommodation
-Pick up and drop off from Pau Airport, Ryan Air flight
-Buffet Breakfasts
-4 Course evening meals including wine and coffee
-Transport to and from ski resorts
The price for a 3 night stay is £250 per Adult Half Board based on 2 people sharing.
The price for a 5 night stay is £350 per Adult Half Board based on 2 people sharing
The prices above are for all weeks throughout the season except Christmas and New Year
Christmas and New Year Packages are £375 per person Half Board for a four night stay including special Christmas treats and a New Year party!!!
Season prices are based on a Thursday to Sunday for the three night stay, Thursday to Tuesday for the five night stay (except Christmas and New Year) and pick ups and drop offs at Pau Pyrenees airport which is 40 minutes from Chez Passet
The reason for the 3 or 5 night stays, is due to Ryan Air now not flying into Pau on a daily basis during this winter.
We are able to offer more flexible lengths of stays on request as well as pick ups and drop offs from different airports, for example Toulouse (BA, Easy Jet, British Midland and Jet2 (which serves the North of England in particular)) or Biarritz (Ryan Air to Stansted and Dublin). Flights, ski passes, ski hire are not included in the price.

Skiing in the Hautes Pyrenees
The Hautes Pyrenees offer great skiing for all levels of skiers or boarders and the resorts vary from small villages to large purpose built resorts. Historically the French Hautes Pyrenees have been the preserve of the French, with very few Brits venturing away from the Alps (as had been the case with myself and Vicky for the last 20 years!). Resorts tend to be quieter and ski passes cheaper. For more information on each of the resorts to which we can visit please click on the buttons on the right. Snow conditions are certainly on a par with the Alps and the continued investment in the French Pyrenees has resulted in the provision of much improved snow making facilities, should they be required. Resorts tend to open in the second week of December and close mid April.
For Non Skiers
For those who are non skiers or boarders, the area offers a great selection of Spas, the best being at the nearby town of Bagneres. We are able to book any treatments in advance of your stay. Great shopping is to be had in Pau which is just 20 minutes by train from Lourdes station.
